Man, this is a really sticky situation.

I like how on the business end, the whole concept of attracting bees with honey is upheld. These guys know how to get what they want.

On the government end, it seems like it's a blatant flaunting of ego and disapproval. I'm sure the Chinese Internet Czar knows American companies/citizens don't appreciate cyber attacks. It's not about telling him that it's wrong. He knows it's wrong. It's a a matter of how to persuade him that it's against his own best interest to continue to allow/encourage it.
