It would be fairly terrifying, but I can think of more terrifying things. Such as my trusty LN B.U.D. popping while using... Er.. I mean ...umm..er ... Nevermind :|

Seriously though, I could see how this might be attractive for Blackberry fans, but I type way too fast to bother with actually pressing a key down.
Excellent for Blackberry. They know to establish an image and stick to it, not getting pressured from all the mainstream smartphone templates. Now they are set apart from everyone

I agree with bacon puffs, there is extra effort to type on a hard keyboard. Pressing down on the buttons and targeting those tiny keys
Although sometimes its something to be missed. Less accidental clicks
