Hey!
I've got an xtouch x507 Note 2 clone, it has an MTK6577 Processor and I tried everythring rooting it - but nothing worked Sad

its that phone: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

I really would love to root it and get rid of all ads and stuff..

Any suggestions?

Try the sticky root threads once you've gained full access (Graphical Easy Root).

If none of the root threads work, then you'll need to build your own CWM. There are a couple of stickies about that also. Thumbs Up

You can also try a factory reset if you haven't already. Often much of the Chinese garbage is part of the data partition.
