Hello gizbeat!

Just checking if there are any updates regarding the otg support? thanks very much! no hurries. just checking Smiling
Hey Tj, I tried to find an adaptor when I was in the city, but didn't have any luck.

I will be very surprised to find out it has OTG. Maybe someone who has the phone and easier access to an adaptor can give this a try anyways.

I will try to ask on the foreign forums as well.
Just an update on this. From the posts at the foreign forums, the H7500+ does not support OTG. If anyone finds out different, please let us know.

I checked at a couple forums and it's confirmed it doesn't have OTG.. Sorry about that. Hope bluetooth will be adequate for whatever you're trying to do.

That's ok, i kind of figured that would be the case. It;s mainly for playing movies/videos directly from a flash drive/external hard drive. I know it has sd card but it can be cumbersome to copy large format full movies.
Also for my sixaxis controller. I'll figure it out. I ordered my 7500+ about a week and a half ago, just waiting for it to be delivered, its not a deal breaker.

Thanks for confirming this!

If you're watching movies at home, you can easily stream them through your router. You can also set it up for them to stream over the net to anywhere you're at with an internet connection... The OTG would be a better solution I agree though.

For the controller, might just have to bite the bullet and purchase a bluetooth one.

I actually do this, (streaming from my pc. I use an app called Emit) when Im at home just using my router. It could be problematic streaming over the internet because of the relatively slower internet speeds in my location. (copying them to the sd card would be easier given the circumstances, thus the need for OTG)

I would have to go the bluetooth way indeed. Though I wont go so far as to order android-specific ones like the moga, online.. I would have to hunt locally for a bluetooth ps3 controller.

(OTG would have really solved everything. haha)
It's a damn shame more companies aren't stepping up and offering OTG in their phones.
Hello Gents,

Does the OTG support is based on a HW level...or it is just something SW related?

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register], but it's also required to have a proper OTG cable to get correct results.
