As smartphones bleed into all parts of our life, a common New Year's resolution for 2015 will be to cut down on phone usage and be more present in the moment.

I've had a lot of addictions throughout my life, but cookies and smartphones are some of the tougher to quit.

I toyed with the idea of making spending less time in front of an LCD for new years resolution. Lasted all of about 5 minutes.
