Hi to all! Can anyone help me how to root my lenovo a806 please?
Hi userik. Welcome to chinaphonearena.

Please see the auto root tools and methods in the rooting tools forum. [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
If you are running on jb ROM, try framaroot first. If you are on KitKat, try iroot first.

If all tools don't work, build and install cwm then root from recovery.
Here is a guide to building cwm while unrooted. [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
Download the SuperSU zip file from rooting tools forum (linked above).
The file you will get is a rar file. If you extract that you will find a zip file inside. You will use the zip file for rooting from recovery.
See this guide as well. [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
Follow steps 4 onwards.

There is always a risk in doing any modifications to your phone. Be careful and make sure you have a copy of your stock ROM just in case.
Good luck.

Thaks for your fast reply, but unfortunately i managed to wipe the rom of the mobile, and now i cant put it back on it! The problem i cant find a version of kitkat 4.4.2 whic i can install from sd card. Have you got a clue how to flash any os on my blank lenovo a806 ???
How did you wipe the ROM?
No more recovery mode? Factory mode?
Why are you looking for a zip flash able one?
You'll need a ROM that is flash able with sp flash tool if you've lost recovery mode. What is the state of your phone now?

Hi! I did a factory reset and the mobile just never could boot again. i can get in recovery boot menu there is some choice like adb sideload, sd card install, wipe cash etc etc. i need a valid version of any adroid os which will go and istall on this phone either sp flash or zip format. If you could help me out how to what to do i will very apreciate it. Thanks
It is very odd that a factory reset would have done that. Nothing else changed?
Your recovery mode doesn't sound like the typical Android system recovery, it seems. Did you install anything on it?

Here is a link to a stock ROM [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
Before you flash, please make a backup of your phone in its current state. Follow this tutorial [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
Don't bother with the CWM for now. Just do the readback and process the ROM.

Since you are still able to get into recovery, do not flash the preloader anymore. Make sure the box for the preloader is unticked.
