Nokia has threatened legal action against a UK start-up over the use of the word "HERE".

Hmm. Nokia does have a point. Though a common word, it's not common for the purpose which they're using it.
Going after the Here button might be an exaggeration. as a name of an app, Nokia does have a point and Lowdown will probably lose. trademarked is trademarked. although even if Lowdown loses, they will have gotten enough exposure to still be successful

developers are mainly creative, surely, they can come up with something else
