Both quadcore, but Which is better?

I found on aliexpress a "tablet", it's called tablet but it's a phone, with mtk8382 and 1Gb (or 2 gb) ram, but I do not know that cpu.

Thank you

PS: this is "tablet" photo:

Maybe you know it.
The MT6582 and MT8382 have the same core architectures, CPU speeds, GPU, network connectivity capabilities, etc. The MT8382 is in MediaTek's tablet series of chipsets, MT6582 is for smartphones, but capability-wise, they are the same.

If the device claims an MT8382 chipset, then it is a tablet. The only problem you will have there is whether it is fake or not

Are you planing on buying a tablet/phone?

I hope you don't mind if I share my opinion here...if you are after a tablet or a phone, stay away from Aliexpress (and definitely stay away from generics or clone models). I mean, Aliexpress is a great source of various items, but when it comes to phones and tablets, there are way too many horror stories about faked specs and zero customer service

There are so many good China phones and tablets with reputable brand names that have great specs. And you have a good selection of online stores right here in the forum. The sponsor stores have great promos every now and then. I don't know exactly if the Ulefone Be Pro $134/$135 sale is still going on, but its a damn attractive sale.

I recommend you take a look at Gizbeat phone reviews. See if there are any reviewed phones that fit your required specs and price range. the THL4000 got a whole lot of love because of worldwide 3G + monster battery + $85 sale price. Although, from the photo of the device you are showing, I am assuming you want a large screen, so the THL4000 might not suffice

Anyway, there are a bunch of other reviews on the site www.gizbeat.com take a look. Of course, you can always post a list of criteria you want in a phone, I'm sure a lot of people here will be able to give you some good suggestions. Smiling

Well, like I said, I'm just sharing my opinion...I hope you reconsider buying from Aliexpress. I'm sure there are still legit sellers on there, but I've just read about a lot of harsh user experiences about faked products. I'm sorry if I seem very negative about it, its just that reading those kinds of stories gives a very very nasty taste in my mouth, and its terrible that there is no way to help out those users.
So same speed and same quadrant/antutu number, is correct?

To tell the true I was looking for a little tablet, I use now also Kindle HD6 and I like that size, good for train (less space than ipadmini), and a fast reading in house.
On aliexpress I was looking for a tablet and I found in search pages that "tablet" with double sim and 3g, in spec I read also 1gb of memory and, why not, a tablet with a phone function can be always usefull, my range prize is very low prize I found that "tablet/phone" for only 70$ and if it's really a mtk quad core with 1gbrom and 720p can be a good deal.
Generally description in aliexpress are sometime fantasy descriptions, but I always opened a dispute for wrong description (every 2 goods one is "wrong") and always I received a correct refound, but if I can find a same spec/prize goods in your vendor I can give a try.

Thank you
