Full Version: Spot ify small tablet issue and solution

I had posted this a while back and figured it was time to bring it to a thread.

For a while, many of us were having issues with Spotify and using it to its fullest (unlimited song skipping, no forced radio function, etc) on both "small" and full-size tablets. This was done using an Xposed module called [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]. This module allowed in 4.1, 4.2, and other OS versions to fool programs into thinking that your tablet was large enough to use that useful version of Spotify rather than the phone version, which is severely lacking.

Unfortunately, Spotify changed some coding which took away the ability of tabletmetrics to force Spotify to correctly identify "small" tablets. Because of this, an APK was created to correct this unfortunate oversight by Spotify and allow the smallest of tablets with updated Android OS to have the (free) functionality restored.

If you already have Spotify installed, make sure to delete all Spotify program data first, THEN you may uninstall the application itself. At this point, you should reboot your device. Once rebooted, you may install [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register].

If the above APK does not work, then maybe the older version will, so feel free to try [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] if it fails.

Have fun!
