Buying An Average HDD
Solid state drives, particularly PCIe drives appear to be replacing performance HDDs but the lower cost per TB of HDDs makes them attractive for large content libraries. This utility, combined with new approaches in manufacturing ever higher capacity drives, such as selling them in batches as an average HDD capacity and increasing areal densities will likely be a path for success for the capacity enterprise HDD market.
