ive just got this phone and im very happy with it, the little niggle i have is the internal memory storage is 1gb and not the 16gb advertised ???

Will, please take another look at settings > storage.
What you should see is 1GB for internal storage. The rest, 13gb or so, should be in phone storage. Your SD should show as well assuming you have one in there. Let us know if that's how it is.
You can modify this by flashing EBR. See the threads in this forum for that.
