Seriously? 15 and never ever any problems? Well I owned around 30 over the last 4-5 years and I had to fix a lot. Meizu, Gionee, Iuni, Umi, just to name some. All of them had something that didn´t work (GPS, call quality, second SIM slot, WIFI and so on). The best phone I used so far was the Meizu MX3, but even there I had to install play store. The only phone I never had any problems was an Innos D10 with Qualcomm MSM8228. But I didnt get it straight from China, bought it in Poland from an OEM company. They took care of the play store.

Seriously @luboo . Zero issues. I've never owned Meizu, Gionee, Luni or Umi though, so I can't answer for those brands. Also, if you've owned 30 phones (wow, it's really a lot), I'm guessing most of them are pre 2013. Quite a few phones had some issues with call quality prior to 2013. Though even my old A5000 from 4 years ago with MT6516 came with Play store and never had any issues at all.

Oh well I actually work as a business developer for an European IT distributor. We are about to distribute well known brands like Meizu. Before that I worked as a PM for a small ass OEM company. We used to order up to 30 samples (phones and tablets) every week. I usually was allowed to pick the best devices out of every lot. 1 or 2 phones every week. I still get a sample now and then when I or a friend are visitting China. Last buy was a Find 7, my CEO took it right away ;)
Here is the thing, I never bought any devices on an online shop! Always straight from China. Maybe that is the reason why I never had a play store on any phone.

This makes some sense, but it's normally not the shop that puts it on there. It's fairly standard to have it part of the stock ROM from the factory.
This wasn't always the case, and still isn't the case with some brands apparently (ahem...Meizu). This is so they can promote their own shop I believe. Not because they are lazy or incompetent. Most modern popular China brands have it on their stock ROMs now....Doogee, iOcean, iNew, THL, MPIE, Elephone.
Not sure about Oppo though. Was it on the Oppo when you handled it?

Yes it was already on. But probably only because I asked my guy at Oppo to get me a working sample with play store. I remember that even companies like Innos were not eager to get play store installed. They mentioned that they have to pay to google in case they get their stock ROM with all google services.
I just right now received the Umi X3 and guess what... no play store. Easy to fix though. Unlike the Meizu MX3 with 4.4.4. Pain in the butt...

Not sure why Innos told you that. Google services are free for brands to use as long as they're using official Android. That's HOW they make their money. By Play remaining a free service and package for brands to use, Google makes money off the cut they take from selling apps and people clicking ads within free apps.
Major brands who use forks of Android are barred from Play Services and removed from Open Handset Alliance.
As long as a brand is using official Android and not a fork, there is no problem.
The Chinese companies are pressured by Alibaba and Chinese app markets. This is usually the reason Play often isn't included on brands popular in China.

I'm fairly new to android but have been doing a fair amount of reading to try and get up to speed.
Both android chinaphones i have so far have both had playstore etc on them (snopow m8, huadoo v3)
Then again, both phones have had an issue in one way or another, but nothing drastic that they cant be used for their original purpose.
I dont worry about warranty because i have usually rooted them and taken them apart and put them back together by the time i have noticed any imperfections.
