Hi All,

I am Lanbase from Tenerife ,

I am trying to get some help here because this is a chinese phones orientated website.

I have bought the HTC E1 ( 603e ) @ Merimobiles for its dual sim full active abillity. I ordered it withhout root install because I wanted to learn as much as possible about the phone and do it myself.

However all info I can find about rooting the E1 is in chinese and i cannot read that lol. On xda no one knows the phone or talk about vRoot which suppose to be an unsafe & unknown method of rooting they say on xda.

I have enough experience with rooting and s offing europe phones but hope someone here can point me in the right direction for my new toy ;-)

Anyhow I have got some reading up to do here. ;-)

I often use vRoot (now known as iRoot). The problem is that it installs some junkware when it roots. It also uses KingUser SU instead of a standard SU.

This KingUser SU *usually* keeps you from being able to easily install another SU (the root stops working if you try to cleanup with another control app), but there is a way around it. Admin has a tutorial coming up.

In the mean time, in my experience it's fine to root with this app.
