This is some special 1 day sale only (might even be 1 hour sale). Just to bring hype to the product. Probably going to be $200 or so.

Agreed. It is one day only and I read on one of the forum that it might give you access to the voucher that can be applied on release date. It is a weird type of setup but it means you get a voucher and can be applied on release date only.

But knowing Elephone, this is more or less a marketing stunt. It's very unlikely they'll let go of more than a handful at this price. One thing Elephone is good at is marketing. They are smoking the competition just with their marketing.
I just wish they were also smoking their competition with their consistent build quality...
I wish this as well. If they spent 20% of their energy/investment from marketing hoo-ha into build they'd be a big winner. A lot of what they're doing is very impressive, but unfortunately most people just aren't educated enough to not buy into the hype.
I'm really looking forward to seeing if the P7000 delivers and it would be great to see THL / Jiayu start to take a hint and ramp up their game by emulating Elephone's methods to success.

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth
