Hi,
What is considered the best front camera facing chinese phones, photograph and video, day and night? Released recently or coming out in the next 2 months.
It is too hard to tell as MP is not everything, and alot of chinese phones seem to be interpolated and poor with low light.
Thanks

You're right, not easy to find which has the best front cameras. Most reviewers barely even mention the front camera. Some manufacturers list them, but most don't.
You can also somewhat go by if they support auto-focus or not - also not often listed, but can ask users of phones you're interested in whether or not auto-focus is supported.
Also, generally the better known brands will use better cameras... example THL, Jiayu, Umi.
In the end, I really don't think there's much between them, assuming you're buying a relatively well known model.

It's not very recent, but maybe you could consider the iNew V8? I think that phone fared pretty well. Gizbeat did a review on that, you can check it out.
At least with that phone, you're quite sure about the camera quality, as it has just the one primary cam.

The iNew V8 did take great pictures, but you had to use the stock camera for front-facing photos. Third-party cameras didn't understand the swivel and would take the picture upside-down. It can be fixed in software later, but it's annoying to be trying to take a group selfie and see everyone inverted.
I also personally experiences camera failure from time to time when swiveling it to the front, where it would bump the camera offline completely and require some fidgeting and rebooting. This may have been fixed in a later ROM or in the next generation of V8. This phone unfortunately got dropped before it ever got upgraded. Just a heads up.
