THL 5000 with MTK6592T@ 2Ghz running 4.4.2 with no issues rooting nor using/installing Xposed.
Tested with both standard production version 2.6.1 AND version 2.7 experimental1.
No problems with either version. Greenify and gravitybox all work 100%.
To reinforce, this is a relatively vanilla version, so always have your backups at the ready!

It works flawlessly provided its android 4.4 but if lollipop.. There's more to its installation. Needs framework to be updates with recovery

I'm also running Xposed on an iNew V3 Plus (MT6592 as well). I have run multiple ROMs on this device and all of them supported Xposed.
