[Question] Replacement parts suppliers

Hi.

I bought a Snopow M8 phone and so far am happy with it.
Problem is, i snapped one of the screws that tightens the battery compartment, which also keeps it watertight.

A couple of emails to the Snopow website requesting the screws and nuts plus replacement screen protectors has not gained any replys so far.
The place a bought the phone from have been as helpful as they can be but i am still unable to purchase screen protectors or the replcement screws.

Anyone on here able to help at all?

I dont care about voiding warranty, i have been disassembling electronics for decades and they dont get any easier than this phone.

Not to dishearten you, but it will be very unlikely you'll be able to find the stock screws. It's often difficult to find even major parts for many of the relatively popular phones. Maybe a trip to Home Depot or your local electronics shop might produce something adequate.

I realise that it is an uphill battle but these screws and hex nuts are used by just about all the IP67 and IP68 rated phones out of china, there has to be some way to source them.
I mean $5 or $10 US for a pack of 6 screws with hex nuts for a phone that is touted as being throw proof, drop proof, dust and water proof..... i figured it would be a no brainer for added revenue.

If worst comes to worst then i am sure i have the inginuity to put a fix together, but it is still annoying i cant even buy replacement screen protectors either.

It's China phones. It can be occasionally more than frustrating, but is the price we pay for the price we pay.
