GPS works like a charm on the 7320. I have tried it with waze in my car and it get fix really fast. Google maps above ver 8.0 crashes though.

Thanks for your reply! I tried this script but it does not work. I get a message when running the script like "no such file or directory".

That script needs to be added with root powers to
/system/etc/init.d
lets call it 88proximity

contents as per widh61 suggestion

#!/system/bin/sh
echo 900 > /sys/bus/platform/drivers/als_ps/psthd

then give it correct permissions pls

su
chmod 755 /system/etc/init.d/88proximity
chown root.shell /system/etc/init.d/88proximity

full reboot of phone to test if interested in fixing your script

Thanks for your help but i still get the "no such file or directory" error. Maybe my phone doesent have these directories in the first place?

I assume you are rooted?

lets do some quick tests without testing for the full monty

If that last one says file not found or similar and you have a really long id result
YOUR device is not rooted. Please see the CPA forums on how to root if that is the case.
