Hello chinamanuk,
I need your help. I have got same samsung galaxy s4 clone gti9500 mt6575. I bought it in Shanghai one month ago. I cannot install whatsapp and other apps. I have rooted the phone (a friend did it) but we don't know how and what ROM could be installed to get, as you say, a quite good mobile. Whith my sim of spanish company, phone calls work and also internet, but speed is very low, always showing "E" or "G", but never "H" that means 3G. With wifi works perfect.
Could you share this ROM again please? Link is broken. If possible send me to my email [email protected]
Whith this ROM could you install whatsapp? Have you reached 3G "H" speed?

Whatapps works fine and facebook works from contact link, only works on Wifi so far, it detect my carrier but don't register it. I have seen H+ logo but no actual traffic.

Turns out the file they sent me is for recovery and not flash tool.

So far I managed to get it to work in UK with my network carrier, the orginal IMEI is for S3 and my carrier does not register it. Changed it to S4 and now mobile network is working.

Still didn't manage to get other stuff working tho.

Really need to get the space thing sorted, the 100mb space for software is ridiculous and not internet browser??

*#*#889988#*#* brings up the secret menu to change the IMEI, I learn that from a turkish forum, thanks god for google translate.

With the Stock ROM there don't work

Can't install facebook
no web browser, only the pre installed version which browser can read chinese sites, lucky I am chinese
Put my sim in today but don't seem to pick up my carrier, it detect T-mobile but can't sent or recieve anything (I am on ex tmobile now EE in UK)
only around 100mb of app installation space
If option is choosen to update time with network it shows I am in China and therefore wrong date and time
Camera is rubbish, not software problem, the hardware is crap

the touchscreen is good and responsive
phone is 99% 1.1 to my friend S4
For some reason I download a chinese app for downloading songs and it does not work on my OEM note 2 as I am not in china but this phone have no problem with country restriction? Very strange. If the rom is sorted this could be a very good phone for very little money

I am heading off to work and on my return the upload would have finished and I will post link here

please type on your mobile screen *#0066# and reboot your phone. this is simple.
OR install mobile uncle and go to mobile information / go to below build prop. and read it carefully there is written : ro.bootanimation.switch code : *#--------# etc.

Any idea how to get facebook to install and accessible? This phone its a toy, slow and most app crash at loading. I got a n8000 for a bit more money and everythings working as it should out of the box, less than 5 mins set up and all ok
