[Solved] change mac code on phone

This is the SN Station write tool. Should be fairly straightforward. Have you tried downloading and running the software?

First off thanks for trying to help me out.

yes I have downloaded the programs and had a look, but the translation to English is the problem, like the following 2 items

1)just enter the address of the first eight points ON / OFF Lock

2)Click the Start pop-up complete start after wifi mac address input 12, in fact, must remain the same as before and enter as easily fill the back four, numbers and letters are the first eight rows. After the point ok.

update:- have just tried 3 times to update wifi with a modified mac address copy and paste and it does not overwrite the original, im sure it did the first time....

is there a hex program I can use to modify within the nvram without keep copying to sd card, the only way I can see the" wifi "is remove sd card and put into a micro adaptor and into my laptop

You should be able to plug your phone via USB to transfer the NVRAM.

There are also apps to hex edit within Android

I also recommend you just try a different NVRAM set. Might end up saving yourself a lot of trouble.

Sorry to disappoint, I may have mislead Sniper47 in posting a translation from Chinese to En but I have no translation skills myself.

but I would recommend you check to see if device truly rooted. should work even for Windows users

Once your device is truly rooted...Pls do not reboot your phone. My device loses true root as explained by vampirefo in that thread.......roughly its because of my bootloader/kernel having a secure setting.....while for true root we need an insecure setting.

Then repeat the previous suggestions

EDIT (2) Within Android I had a look at a few Linux commands and eth0 (zero not o for orange) may not be your mac-changer command

so pls consider privacy but as we don't know your address it might be ok to show it
within Android open a terminal and do this

I assume you are trying to connect to your router?
In which case you spoof your wlan0

try at own risk, but as nothing else as worked?

mac address is to be different to device 1 and its wlanzero not wlan o for orange

3) If that worked you may need a script for when you reboot or need to turn off that second device?

something like this...made executable and at root of where ever your Android terminal is configured to open to

The problem isn't the root. The file is writing to the proper location fine. And it wasn't because I thought you could read Chinese

The reason I referenced you is because of your Linux skills and perhaps thought you would know some ADB commands or process for another method of writing MAC address or understand what the problem is with the newly written MAC address not working. He referenced some errors earlier in the thread as well. Which it seems you have offered some help in that area. Excellent.

to change mac address.

first make sure u do not turn the wifi on.

then edit the file "WiFi" in android or window,
then copy and paste it to the location with the file "WIFI_CUSTOM", then change the permission.

try few times n see.

if still cannot , that means yr storage/location might have been damaged/corrupted.

it happened to me when i tried to write the imei, i tried all the method, but with no success, then i formated the phone with sp flash tool, then rewrote the imei number without any problem.


edit:
after many many many times of formating, flashing rom, dropping of my inew6000, my phone finally come to an end.
the phone cannot read the EMMC anymore.
