i got my phone and working just fine..my friend had the same phone ..but his phone won`t charge(dead phone) the pc won`t reganzied it on any program(sp flash tool,mdk tool etc) his ..i tried to do what i did with my phone on sp flash to flash it with no luck..even without the battery the pc shows nothing.like the phone even is not loged....so thats mean that his phone is bricked ..what he can do....how to know if the proccesor or the phone is just dead and won`t load up again..what is your advise for him...thx

unfortunately I also got myself a bricked star s7589 but I guess I did it myself..

I used SP Flash tool and formate my phone, I loaded the scatter from Original ROM then hit format then I was stupid to select: Format whole flash.

now of course u know the phone is dead... battery in or out still dead... changing USB ports... same... still dead.

but in my device manager window I see from time to time under: Network Adapters:

Alcatel Single RNDIS Interface.

sometimes it'll load with exclamation mark (!) and some other times it'll show up as if it's okay and installed properly, but if u keep ur phone plugged in for sometime u will see it changing from this to that and device manager will keep refreshing when it does this.

so now I wish I could find some help regarding this matter, if there is any hope?

P.S: my case is different than the case in first post... mine was fine until I made the format.

Just wondering how you did this? i tried flash tool etc but PC wont recognise phone. i've installing a new ROM from sd card through recovery and installation just aborts..

i so have no idea what to do next

phone stuck on boot screen... i have messed with phone too much and BAM,,, bricked... it seems every step i take has it's difficulties.. flash tool just does nothing (PC wont recognise phone - well maybe a driver and COM port issue) - recovery mode does nothing, cant seem to install a new ROM this way... think i need to send back to China and play dumb

Mine is stuck in infinite loop. Can't get it to recovery either HELP!
