So, my inew has to go to warranty but it is rooted.
I need to remove the root access to not void the warranty.
I've done a factory reset but the kinguser app (which was installed when I root the phone) is still there.
How do I remove it? Do I need to flash the phone with SPFlash? Will this fully remove anything from a previous rom?
Is there any other way? I don't feel comfortable with SPFlash

the correct way would be to flash your backup that you took before rooting ;)
since you ask i assume you did not make a backup.
to completely remove root you will have to flash a stock ROM, preferrably the one your phone came with.
I dont know if the inew has a flash counter, like the Samsung phones, but if it has your warranty is void in any case.

linr76, tanks for the reply.
I don't have a backup but the 1.0.4 rom is online so I can flash the phone with it. It was the stock rom from me.
Since are new stock roms, if there is a flash counter, how are we supposed to update the phone without void the warranty? Only from the update.zip?
How can we find if there is a flash counter or not?
I jus did "clear root permission" from inside kinguser and the app disappeared. I believe its done without the need for flashing but please correct me if i'm wrong.

i think its fairly unlikely that it has a flash counter.
well, we assume they are stock roms because they are posted on the baidu cloud under the name inewphone...
noone actually knows if they are "stock", but its safe to think so.
since inew practically has zero customer care i would not loose sleep over that.
probably you will return your phone to the seller where you bought it and not to inew?

You can clear root access under the kinguser settings.
