CWM install don't mess with nvram.bin, assuming he in installing roms via CWM recovery, he first step should be to replace the modem files, as it won't hurt anything , and might fix his problem.

If it doesn't help it wont hurt, either.

Hi,

I'm flashing ROM by both methods - CWM & SP Flashtool.

This problem occurred when I did flash SGS4 ROM through flashtool. an error popped up PMT failed when did "Firmware > Upgrade" ... then "download" option by selecting stock ROM scatter file did the job. I'd "format whole flash" too but no luck.

My suggestion was if you used only cwm recovery, flash tool is a completely different app.

Now its done and cannot be rolled back...just want to make calls from my phone, fade up playing candy crush. Any way out...pl help...Thanks in advance!!

I guess your solution is simple, but not easy...
You must get a good and original ROM.
Flash the ROM in "Download" mode.
Is it OK?
If you still don't have service, check for NVRAM errors in your Wi-Fi list?
Does the phone have original IMEI's?
Check it with MTK DroidTools.
IF you have NVRAM errors, and invalid IMEI messages, you have a faulty NVRAM.

To solve it, you must get a NVRAM backup of another phone with the very same model. That's the tuff part.

After you get it, use MTK droid tools, Root it, and restore NVRAM. Change IMEI's to your and do a NVRAM Backup.
Sometimes, reseting the phone make the original NVRAM IMEI's come back, so you better watch that and restore YOUR backup.

This could be painfull, but I try that and ofcourse with the help of foruns I managed to get a NVRAM Backup for my Ulefone N9002.
