Max HSDPA and HSUPA?
#1
Hi.
I have already ordered Caesar H7500+, and i would like to know, what is the max HSDPA for this phone. because i have found different informations about this things...
In fact, new MTK6589 should support HSDPA up to 42 Mbps (yes, i have 42 Mbps 3G in my location from my cell provider)

The max download should be 42, but that is only theoretical. Overhead and all sorts of other things come into play.

I can confirm connection to H+ no problem. H+ is a network standard, so if it's connecting and your provider can provide high DL rates, you should get high data rates.

Please report back what max speeds you obtain, because my network is governed.

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could

Ok. Thank you for your responseSmiling
I asked some guy who bought the phone also here in Slovakia (and he already use it) - his max HSDPA was only about 5,5 Mbps (it looks like it works only with 7,2 Mbps standard.
I should have the phone in two weeks, so ASAP i will let you know.

OT - how it´s gonna be with custom rom? in future, can we use custom roms for zopo? Or there must be special version for Hero/CaesarM

People are using the Zopo ROM without a problem. Initially I thought it was a problem, but I was reading the Chinese forum wrong. Though the currently released zp800h ROM is 4.1.1 and h7500+ reports 4.1.2. Also we can use any MX56 ROM as well - I tried already Big Grin

Thanks much for reporting any results on the H+ test.

my max is 17 Mbps. so definitely there is 42 Mbps HSPA+ chipSmiling))
Even Galaxy S3 ha max HSPA+ 21 Mbps... I am looking forward for next gen CPU from Mediatek, in 1-2 years, qualcomm will have one big rival.
