My Nubia z9 mini is already bricked !!!
#1
hi,
i'm very disapointed Sad i've bricked my new nubia z9 mini.
I have make an upgrade with the OTA proecdure in v1.19 and after my systeme was in inglish.

So i have try to install language international to link this video :

Big error!! now my nubia is bricked.

It boot, start the boot sequence with sound , then it is fixed on the write and red chineses word !!!! then nothing.

I try to reboot it to go in the recovery mod, but nothing, i start to boot normalely then fixed.

iMy phone i not rooted, no cwm or twrp installed. only the update.zip firmware was on the insternal storage (from needrom v1.19) but i think i have been delete with this script.

So, if a master of android can help me, explain that make the script of this video and modify it to re-life my nubia.

i'have not a system.img to replace it of the video.

Many thanks to advance.

Hi guiom57 !

Your device has Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset !
Usually I'm used to using devices with Mediatek chipset.
However, try to download the official rom below :

I have found on the net the next suggestion :

Return to official firmware and recovery:
1. To access the recovery and see what version is installed, turn of your phone and press the volume-up and power button simultaneously.
2. If you want to return to the official firmware, downloaded the latest firmware from our forum.
3. Copy the firmware to your external microSD card.
4. Boot into recovery by turning of your phone and pressing the volume-up and power button simultaneously.
5. Perform the 3 wipes: Data factory reset, Cache and Dalvik.
6. Choose Install ZIP from SD card and select the firmware you've downloaded.
7. At the end of the installation process you will be asked whether to keep the flash recovery (CWM). If you select Yes, you will keep the custom recovery. If you select No, the official recovery will be flashed.

thanks for your answer. i'm also i'm old mediateck users.
howver i have try your purposition.
But, since i've made thi smanip, it's impossible to boot in recovery mode.
The script have modify the boot of my phone.
i don't know how to restore it.

Maybe a software is as spflashtool for Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset ?

Maybe I have found this solution : how to install CWM 6.0.5 ... it is for Nubia Z7 mini but I suppose that it will works on Nubia Z9 mini too because it is only a custom recovery. If it will works ... wipe Cache and Dalvik ... and try to make a Factory Reset.
STEPS:
How to install CWM custom recovery:
1. Download and extract 'Z7mini_CWM.rar' (found in the bottom of this post).
2. Enable USB Debugging on your phone.
3. Connect your phone to a PC and run 'run.bat'
4. After about 2 minutes, your phone will reboot into CWM if there were no errors.
