Hi I'm new to Android phones and was trying to flash my T100s. Phone would boot then get a black screen and have to take to battery to power down. Phone now boots into logo screen and just hangs can I get the phone to work again or is there no hope?

I mean did u flashing a ROM or flashing a CWM etc... before the problem started?
If you can get to recovery, then do factory reset.

Sound like you may have formatted system instead of just data and cache. In that case, just boot into CWM and flash the ROM you previously were going to flash.
You don't mount SD. Select install from SD and point it to that ROM you copied. Assuming it is SD Update ROM.

If you used the carliv wipe, option 1 will wipe your *system. that is maybe why phone doesn't boot because you possible wiped system.
for flash the new ROM, yes. just copy the zipped ROM to SD. It must be SD Update ROM. not SP flash type rom. If SP Flash type ROM then use sp flash tool from MTK Tools section here on forum.

The instruction should be on the page you downloaded the ROM from. It should say about flashing with PC, or flash through SD. If you can't figure it out easy, just tell in this thread what some of the file contents of the .zip is and we will tell which it is. If SD updater or SP flasher.
