I'm not sure what geo-blocking is, but the site came up fine for me.

It brings up a valid point -- that not paying attention makes you more vulnerable to accidents. Can something really be done about this, though? Are they seriously discussing laws that would make inattentive pedestrians responsible for the accidents they cause? Or are they discussing outlawing distracted-walking in general?

Right now where I live we have a HUGE number of trendy bicycle-riders around town. Regular bike commuters are not usually a problem, but this is a tremendous mass of uneducated, careless, and distracted riders who are causing all sorts of problems. It's a similar situation because [outside of accidental death] there are minimal consequences to disobeying laws.

Geo block is depending on location, site may block that page/link. Happen on some major news sites or YouTube for example.

I think this has been an issue for awhile. It's illegal in most areas to ride with earphones I thought.

I always found it curious, the intense hate and penalties for driving under the influence, but turn to scold your kid or look to the side at something interesting, or text on mobile results in no or minimal penalty. I'm not sure about u, but I prefer the drunk driver to person not looking or listening. Slightly off topic maybe? Still slightly on topic I hope.

FWIW geo blocking is where the domain detects your country and for reasons not entertained here, decide to block foreigners from accessing the site.

Often happens with video/news sites.....for example in Australia without TOR etc, I am blocked from watching some overseas tv shows or certain US shows.

Luckily I am on just slow internet its not worth pursuing.
