I tried the app for two days saw zero improvement of battery life, no matter, I have tried many apps none seem to do anything, placebo effect.

If you're using a dual sim phone, and depending on the rom, it may not work properly. The developer says it's not compatible with dual sim phones. I installed it on my Jiayu g5 that has incredible battery life (3000mah option) and it wasn't effective (in fact detrimental). But on my K910 which is also dual sim but full active (dsfa) it works like a charm. I suspect the dsfa and Lenovo rom make it somehow compatible. Either way it's yet another step in the right direction and hopefully the developer will optimize it for dual sims in the future. Post your experience on Google play, the developer seems to respond quite quickly.

Well, I left my Doogee DG550 and cheapie S5 clone (MTK6582 cpu) overnight (8 hours) - both fully charged at 100%.

Came down and the DG550 was at 96%. I normally lose 8% on this phone overnight. This is a dual-sim phone.

My cheap China clone S5 (MTK6582) lost just 2%!

Damn good to me.
