High five, Elephone! I think we've all been waiting for a release that would counter the not-so-good reputation they've built for themselves.
Great review! Battery test was a bit of a disappointment. That wasn't such a good trade off for the significant weight bump. Can the blame finger be directed to the 5.5 big 1080p screen?
Very odd it has no otg. That feels like a given with half-decently specced phones.
Still very happy to see a good Elephone review.

You can see the CEO saying to himself, hmm...if we leave OTG and compass off, we can save $2.33 on every unit. Its difficult to imagine how a company could be so dumb, but really its smart because most people are just going to assume it has them much of the general public wont even notice it's missing and if they do, wont care, and of the ones who care, arent going to go through the hassle of returning and the CEOS put an extra $100,000 in their pockets. Assholes. A really stupid move. Screw Elephone.

Looking at it closer, Lenovo K3 lasted 6 hours in the same test with 3000mAh, the THL 4000 which has a 4000mAh battery, but smaller display and 540p resolution lasted 9 hours, so one could say the P8000 is about where it should be.
Perhaps the outstanding scores from Innos D6000 and particularly the MX Base threw me off here (re my comment in P8000 review).
A solid phone, let down by the lack of OTG and a compass, which I rarely (bordering on never) use... The chincyness of Elephone here [on a $160 mobile] is the point of the matter I suppose.
