iNew I6000 MTK6589T

Frankly, I've been extremely concerned because of the low price... the "too good to be true" thing! Most of the pricing I've seen ranges from $350-$400 with standard shipping included.

I totally understand what you are saying, my feelings are the same.

I checked the manufacturer site and they are out of stock.
It seems like the tech junkies like me all around the world are excited about this phone.

Looking forward to your stellar review of this excellent phone.

Like I said, I'll wait a few more days, if there are problems I'll just cancel my too good to be true transaction and order a i6000+as they call it now (2GB/32Gb) from DealExtreme.
I can talk to God on this phone, but I don't have anything to say.

I was getting nervous, but if remainder of journey delivers the i6000 in excellent working order, then the $334.76 total (DHL $28.76) is well worth it!
I'll update upon receipt in case anyone else is interested in ordering through the same seller... the price was one of the best I could locate anywhere for this model and they do offer the free shipping option, if you're willing to wait for it.

So did you get it?

I have decided to stop the waiting game. Obviously my seller, chen bo "Recently a lot of problems, our other customers are experiencing the same problem, a lot of goods can not be delivered, including DHL, EMS, do not know why, recently strict inspection, a very serious problem;"

Piece of scam.

Hate aliexpress passionately.

Never again, once again, no matter how good the price is.

Are the owners of aliexpress playing with the money they have in escrow? That's the only way I could explain the behavior of the sellers on their network. Couple of million orders, $100-$200 each, can make a nice profit in a week or so of the waiting game.

Just for the reference:

Sorry to hear that, but we both know you're not the only person to experience that... I'm in the middle myself!

I did not receive it, in fact, I discovered that the DHL tracking number they tied to my order ended up being a delivery in Germany, not to me in the U.S.. Now they claim it was a DHL error and will provide me with the correct tracking information as soon as DHL provides it. I've been reading over every bit of user feedback I can locate from any Chinese Phone seller and have yet to find a single one that does not include buyer complaints of "black-hole" shipments. it's really strange, because I also see positive statements of returns, refunds, successful order delivery... a complete mixed bag! I was wondering about AliExpress too, but I find fraudulent behavior on their part difficult to comprehend with Alibaba being such a successful business. I don't care for their lack of a customer service team and reliance on automation, but at this point I can't site anything negative toward them. I still hope to get the order, but am not holding my breath... I have read over the dispute rules and have been collecting all the evidence in preparation for involving Alibaba in order to obtain refund. You have to wait 6 days post shipment before you can open a dispute which will be Monday. I've already had thorough discussions with DHL and will immediately contact them with any tracking number provided to verify my information as recipient and to expedite any dispute necessary.
As far as explaining the AliExpress seller behavior, it may be a numbers game or playing the odds. If they play the AliExpress automated system to their advantage, maybe they see more potential benefit than risk. Also, there may be cultural business mindset difference at play that is beyond my understanding... I don't know and I truly don't care, just give me back my money or deliver the order! Crazy

Find a positive outlet to blow off some steam and then regroup... if ya really want to get the i6000 version desired and find a legit source, update everyone! May not be the best price, but you'll get what you want! Big Grin

I got mine from Aliexpress, as well as a couple other phones. There's no reason to get angry at AE, it's the select vendors that you need to be angry with. No need to give up on AE. From what I understand, you found a deal that was "too good to be true". Well, it apparently was. I got my i6000 with 2gb ram for 349 shipped with DHL from AE, received in 6 days after shipping. You just have to do some homework on the potential vendor you will be dealing with (like you would on ebay).

You certainly found an excellent price compared to most of the ads for that model; When I found this seller listing it at $304 with free standard shipping, my gut reaction as compared to the $350+ majority of listings was "too good to be true." But after analyzing their company listing and comparing their customer feedback with many others, there were no "Red" flags.

As fate would have it: Just after I began writing this, I received an email notifying me of a 2nd DHL tracking number being posted to my AE order. I checked the DHL site and it lists a shipment destination of North East Ohio. Please keep all your digits crossed that an i6000 safely arrives at my home in the 3-7 day range!

Yeah, yeah, except it happened to me three times with three different sellers from ali.

I don't have a patience to play this game again.
