I Am an Android/OSx developer .
I tested this Tool to root Chinese Phones/Tablets and it worked as charm..
after i tried all tuts on the web to root Galaxy III mini GT-I1980 clone with fail always..
i tryed all tools also..
Finally i found this tool and tested it .. and here was the surprise:

1-Download tool and install it.
2- Run the tool.
3-Connect your device via USB (debug).
4- Click on the home buton on the tool.
5- click on the root button in the list below.
6-A new windows will open,, click on the root button .. process will start.. wait a few minutes until it finish and restart your phone.
7- Congratulations! , Your Device is rooted now.

I don't know how, but this tool kinda work. Although some of us will have trouble reading the on-screen instruction..

Here's my experience..
-- Installed the application
-- Had my phone (Fake Samsung Grand Duos I9082 MT6575, running on ICS 4.0.4) factory reset in recovery mode (using adb terminal to "adb reboot recovery")
-- Plugged it in while the application is on.
-- I tried using the earlier method, but it did not work. So I went straight to its setting where I saw the first icon on the "ROOT" groups.
-- It installs the Superuser, Root Checker (in Chinese, I guess?) & 1 other application.
-- Then I downloaded a Root Checker, it says that I am rooted!!
-- Unsatisfied, I used MTK Android Tools 2.4.8, this is what it says:

-- Installed Link2SD, what happened was, I successfully uninstalled a system application which I don't need, OF WHICH, I can't uninstall before.

Voila!!

Developers.. please take a look on the attachment, anything wrong with it?

Does anyone know if this works with 4.2.2?

It should. Many of these roots use certain methods depending on model and Android version.

Does this still works?

my AVG antivirus blocked it from installing
