Hi everybody,
i'm experiencing this issue:
using tethering wifi, my pc cant access the web.
Wifi works, and 3g access data too... but when pc got hot spot by Inno Dd6000, no web connection avaible.....
Any suggest?
Thanks in advance.
You have PC tether connected to web before on another phone through the same SIM and plan?
two days ago i used a sony xperia sp with same sim and data plan..... and no troubles with tethering wifi.....
I had a friend who recently had troubles tethering their smartphone to their laptop. Their workaround solution was to use USB Tethering rather than Wifi Tethering. As added bonuses, doing it this way provides the best speed and also charges the phone from the laptop. Big Grin
I have tested tethering with my D6000 and it works. You can't use the phone as hotspot and connect the phone to WiFi at the same time though. If you want to do this, you need to use USB connection to PC from the phone. Otherwise, need to use SIM data.
When tetherin wifi is active, phone shares wifi access.
The real benefin is that u can get a wifi acces with pc witout installing drivers and phone works like a router..
This type works with several phones that i tested (Moto G 2014, Xperia SP, Nexus 5).....
If i have to use usb with Innos d6000, is not very pratical and hope that they find a solution....

I am currently having the same issue with 5.0.2 (COMMON v1.1), the hotspot will connect with Bluetooth, WIFI or USB. The laptop / tablet will get local IP addresses but when I try accessing internet via browser or console ping I get unknown host.

Did you manage to solve your issue?

Finally solved the issue, the D6000 DHCP provided a local IP for DNS, I had to update the DNS on the laptop / tablet to use the network provider DNS server. Everything else can stay the same, just the DNS needed changing.

Great news. So far the D6000 has been perfect for me. No reboots or shutdowns. No problems.

Hi,
I had the same issue on all build that I tested, I needed to put a static DNS 8.8.8.8 to have the tethering working.
Now I'm running build V2.7 and no tethering at all working.
I should have stayed with build V2.6 because now I lost my tethering features and don't know how to downgrade from V2.7 to V2.6

To downgrade, install v2.6 through SD. See links in the important threads on Innos forum.
