I don't buy things for street cred. If I can find something according to my criteria in Chinese phone, I will never buy a branded phone or anything for that matter. Right now my everything is chinese, from car to phone, to dress.... Lol
Right now I am using Huawei Ascend Mate 7 premium but the problem is that of dedicated sd card. If I use sd card, then I can't use 2 Sims which is must for me because I use the second sim for data.

Lol.
Therefore the Zenfone 2 4GB is your phone. Trust me, people will be intrigued and you will love it. It needs some tweaking but all battery complaints will disappear once you experience the fast charge it has. It's the best phone I've ever used and the longest time I've ever kept a phone. I have no intention of changing it in the near future either.

Thank you very much for the honest advice. I will order zenfone 2 today in sha Allah. My colleague is already having a zenfone 2. Will inform you when I get it. Have you rooted it and how? Does it have 3rd party roms?

Not rooted and totally stock. Just Greenify and heavy use of app permissions and autostart.

Hi again,
One more thing to clarify.
Upon doing some research, I found that asus on their website and gsmarena has listed the 4 GB version as intel 3580 @2.3 GHz but on online stores it is sold as intel 3560 @1.8 GHz. Why this discripancy?

The 3560 is the 2GB model. You want the 3580 4GB model.

Ya, the 4GB version is listed as 3560 on all online stores. I don't know whether it is a mistake or otherwise.

That's a mistake. You need to ensure it's the 3580 and either TW, WW (Taiwan, Worldwide) or USA model. Do not buy the China or Indian models.
Thanks. I will make it sure that it is WW version.
Hi again,
After doing some research, I found that actually the 4/64 GB version is Intel 3580. All the others are Intel 3560. So I ordered one 4/32 GB as it is sufficient for me and is Intel 3560 cpu.
There is no problem with China or Taiwan or any other version. It only affects some of the bands.

Can root easy. There are a few custom ROM, but most of them have some problems. Probably best just stay with stock and use Nova or Apex launcher.

Here is rooting link

That's not true. Mine is 4GB/32gb but 3580. I believe they came out with that 3560 version later.

There's a big problem with China version for LTE bands outside of China. Taiwan is basically the worldwide version.

China version (maybe Taiwan and India version also) have 2GB/4GB 3560. This was the first version released.

I don't think there was WW or US version with 3560 out. I could be mistaken regarding that though.

This is false. The LTE in China version covers band 1 and 3 (FDD-LTE 1800 and FDD-LTE 2100). That covers all carriers in Middle East, many countries in Africa, nearly all of Asia, all of UK and Europe, and some Latin American and Caribbean areas too.
