Hi all,
Im on the market for a new phone... prefer following specs..but its hard to find..

6.0" QHD (FHD minimum)
Good contrast ratio for daytime viewing
Narrow bezel.
Top of the line CPU
3GB ram minimum, prefer 4GB+
Finger print sensor that works well
good speakers
GREAT battery - prefer removable but if 4000+MaH not such a concern.
OTA updates
4G / LTE with a good choice of bands (I use Telstra in Australia, and Globe in Philippines..)

I have to get something preferably under $1000Aud , but can go above if required.

MUST have international warranty, that is well supported and has a good reputation..

I have looked at the Mate8 and its specs are rgeat apart from its low res screen..and the Australian support of huawei is ridiculously poor...

Samsung note6 sounds promising..but not sure I can wait that long..

Nexus6p / Meizu Mi5 = too small...

Suggestions?
Not so many 6.0". Xiaomi just released a new 6.44

And Leagoo Shark has got a lot of fans too.

You don't need to spend anywhere near 1k.

Great info thanks..

The Xiaomi Max is probably going to be too big to fit in my pockets unfortunately (To be honest 6.0" is a stretch!!)

The Shark looks to be a bit low on specs..CPU is a lot further down, ram is slower..and the phone is a fair bit larger than the mate8..
It does win on the battery and speakers..but loses on all else..
But the biggest factor is it doesnt have the entire range of LTE bands.. (Missing 700Mhz primarily..which is used by Telstra in Australia)

Any others people can think of?
Unless you will be rendering video or processing 3D models, don't worry about CPU and RAM speeds. You will never know the difference.

Anyway, if 6.0" might be too big, don't limit yourself to 6.0". There are a ton of very good 5.5" phones with great battery life and good cameras. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro has been popular.

About LTE, Telstra also uses 1800 and 2100 which is almost all China phones. If you really need 700, then I'd go with the 5.7" Nexus 6P. You say it's too small, but 6.0" could be stretching it. It's .3". I wouldn't choose my phone based on that. If you can get away with 1800 and 2100, pocket $500 and go with Xiaomi Max or Shark or Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro.
The Meizu Pro 5 fits your needs as does the Gionee Elfie 8 and the Allview Extreme. Personally I'd go with the Huawei Mate 8. Not sure why you think it's got a poor screen.
samsung galaxy note 5,(beast),
oppo R7plus a little weak on the SoC but a nice amoled 6'inch screen and you should get good warranty support too
again nexus 6p,(beast)
and have you not considered the HTC m10 or the LG G5 either...with it's moduals the G5 is a hot device with an added extra battery pack with the camera modual plus swappable batteries a great camera and of course SD820 under the hood with enough ram not to worry about anything

not many 6'inch devices on the market really as this puts the device up into the tablet/phablet size and people nowdays seem to be calling for smaller screened devices hence why there are a lot of 5'2 inch devices being released right now
Really appreciate the responses guys..

Mate 8 is probably looking the best spec wise..screen I was only going on the slightly older spec compared to the note5 etc resolutions..in reality I am sure I wouldnt notice the difference..

The Oppo R7 Plus also looks great, and is MUCH cheaper...the quality of Oppo I really like (Had a Oppo N1 previously as well..GREAT phone). Specs are a bit lower...but for my email and internet usage, plus playing clash of clans..probably little difference (using an iphone6 currently..absolutely HATE it...so slow, so clunky, and such a tiny little screen..wish i had my Galaxy note4 instead!!)

Appreciate the information on the 700 frequency not being an issue too!
Well, if money's no object - because to buy it outright, it will cost an arm and a leg - I would say keep your powder dry.

Wait 3 months or so. Pre Order and Buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 6.

Some tidbits:

5.8", Super AMOLED QuadHD+ screen
At least 6GB, likely DDR4 RAM
New, "best" camera sensors
Snapdragon 823
4000 -4200 MaH battery
QuickCharge, etc.

It will be a beast. Probably one of the most (if not "the") most powerful commonly available handheld communications computer to civilians. Additionally, Samsung makes some of the, if not "the", best displays out there

There is even rumor of a dock of sorts. To take all of that raw processing power and mate it to a screen/keyboard/etc, making it into a laptop when needed.
Would love the new note..just the waiting bit...
Using a 4.7" iphone6 at the moment is absolutely killing me for work..Trying to read emails is horrendous, not to mention the fact the iphone is the MOST unstable piece of junk phone I have ever had the displeasure of using..
Freezes, super slow opening / changing screens, horrid thing...and dont get me started on pdf and reading excel with it...

Worse still, playing CoC on such a small screen is hopeless lol..

Think I will jump on a mate8 ..Just got off an online chat with Huawei Australia. They are on their website currently, but the release date is listed as "May"...Something to do with "legals" holding up the delivery date within Australia..

Harvey Norman is their only distribution partner at the moment in Australia (Which probably means Harvey Norman tax on the price..aka + 50%)
The Note 6 would be the ultimate but the Mate 8 is a very good alternative and cheaper too. Why can't you buy the Huawei online and ship it in?
