i have an Neken N6 it is a MTK6589T phone. I So what happened: the software had a problem so i had the brillant idea to flash a rom that were explained as the official ROM for this device. Exactly this one:

After the flash the phone its like dead not turn on ecc...

If i take off the battery and get back it the pc see the phone, as MediaTek USB VCOM port in the hardware of win.

If i try to reinstall the previous rom with SP Flash Tool i get this error:
BROM ERROR: S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL 4032
EMI Enable DRAM Failed

PArticulars things... if i connect the phone without battery the pc does not pop up e nothing apears on hardware device. if i put the battery i see:
MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port (COM12)
Now if i use falsh tool nothing happens.
If i put off the battery and then i get it back again sp tools starts but give me the error above. The thing particular is that making this putting off and then back battery it is no more MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port (COM12) but MTK USB PORT (COM11)

No one? Some ideas why this error? With the original rom you thin it will possible to revive the smartphone?

I had a same problem, but no idea how to resolve. manage to put this rom for NX [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] over SP_Flash_tool but sim2 not working.

Can anybody help with sim 2.

Ok man i succedeed to flash this rom. So the phone is recoverable. The phone starts and recharge the battery that was extremly uncharged.
But to me no sim works not the 1st and not second.
Will wait to get the official firmware. At least was able to determine that the phone was not totally bricked.

I think it is a IMEI problem, i think with the flash tool i erased the imei, i reinsert them and now sim1 and 2 works....
Just the problem of the rom...all chinese, no plasy store ecc..

Can you tell me which tool did you use to erase and reinsert imei. Which rom did you flash for working both sim?

Go yes yes it will install to you a recovery much better than the original that con not you let choose a zip to install.

you can go to recovery by pressing power + vol up

Now you can try to install roms from need rom without the risk to brick your phone...i am trying but they all have bugs..

Now i am using the rom Sony xperia from needrom but it has bugs, i have problems of reboots and freeze sometimes..
for the IMEI
i am using the mobile uncle tool method but it has the problem that it is not permanent every rom flash i have to reput the imei.

Notice that the phone has 2 imei one is in the box the other in the phone in the battery slot

I fixed it. The only way to get throu is to flash all with DroidTool prepared files with "Firmware Upgrade" option.
Otherwise is no way to flash the preloader back again.
