Excellent job. Tried to flash the one Ghost uploaded and it wouldn't flash. Kept getting a hash mismatch error. Perhaps a scatter issue.

This one worked great. Updated and back to factory.
Can you install TWRP and root on this firmware.

Yes, can TWRP Vernee Mix 2 and root Vernee Mix 2, but there is still the issue of writing to /system. But most root functions should work fine. Xposed okay, the root app uninstaller I used worked no problem, giving root permissions to gsam, quick reboot, etc...

Can tell me how to root? I can get twrp but it is not installed on system.
Hi Cleopatra,

I followed your instruction to flash stock ROM on Vernee Mix 2... But I could not get the MTK Preloader USB driver to load as when I press the volume - or + button followed by Power button at the same time and connect USB to PC, the Preloader device appeared for a couple of seconds and disappeared as the mobile start charging..

How did you managed to flash the ROM with the Preloader driver not loaded?

As the vernee mix 2 battery is inbuilt, how can we do the Flashing?

Waiting for your reply. Smiling

Best regards,
taslpeer

Just hold volume up before and when you connect. Not power. When you see the red bar, then release volume. If you have the preloader drivers installed, it should begin to flash.

In TWRP, select INSTALL and then find that .zip. That's it Fu Man
Unfortunately, your instruction did not succeed! Sad It goes to the bootoader menu when volume up is still pressed and usb connected to PC...

Do you have any other workaround?

Best regards,

You're either doing something wrong, or the drivers aren't properly installed or there's a driver conflict.

With the phone powered off, click Download in SP Flash. Hold volume up while connecting the USB to PC.

If the flash doesn't start, try a different USB cable, and a different USB port. If you have a different PC, try that as well. You can also try uninstalling all adb and vcom drivers and do a fresh install.

Does your phone boot into Android okay, or are you currently bricked?
