Thanks you all people for answering me, I am so pleased ! Smiling

When I was buying phone from China I was ready for taking some risk and knew that I can carry some consequences - for example loose all my money ;) But after reading all this stuff about positive reports from people that already bought some devices I thought it would be great idea - but it wasn't .

Maybe on other sites situation is completely different(ex. aliexpress.com, pandawiil.com) - but people in 1949deal.com doesn't know about nothing about CRM - Customers Relationship Management. Or maybe they sell that amount of devices that they did not care. I don't know. Chinese people are making very beautiful devices - but they have some problems with management of sales .

But enough of this bullshit !

I took a chance and payed 60$ for changing motherboard and fix my touch panel, if everything is going to work I will sell this phone, but regardless this - I lost aprox. 120$ or if device come with other problems - 280$.
Similar problem with 1949deal.com. Screen stopped working on inew v3 Returned the phone as instructed by their aftersales. They have the phone since the 8th of may according to track en trace. I have send numerous mail reminders. No reaction whatsoever!!

Phone has not even a scratch and worked fine until the screen stopped working out of the blue.

1949deal s...s!!!!
Those situations really suck, and it seems like what I read when I considered buying a new phone and which did have me NOT choosing the inew v3, is indeed true. Many reports of failing phones, battery and screen problems nearly always. A shame indeed that a manufacturer which is supposed to be above the "average-cheap" category, permits this sort of quality failure and most of all; doesn't do a damn thing about it.
Not a good thing for the customers and certainly not for the chinese phone's reputation.
Isn't all the chinese mobile phone sellers policy, while under warranty, to only cover the servicing (man labour) and not the parts?

I know antelife and others that are exactly the same, client always pay for the repair parts after the 1 week or whatever the time the seller allows for refund or exchange for a new phone in case of factory fault.

I was under the impression thats how chinese warranties work.

The problem here is that when a manufacturer doesn't honor it's own warranty (or simply doesn't give damn about it) you basically are lost, which in normal terms s*cks.

Many years ago I had a case like this, I had a philips phone which gave up on me at about 6 months within warranty. The big difference here is that philips has a standard worldwide warranty and local service agencies in most countries. So I went to one as I was living abroad at that moment and since I had a phone which they didn't sell in that country they offered me a completely new phone that was their top of the model line without any charge at all. My old phone was provider-locked while this new one was unlocked! Even though philips doesn't produce highly modern phones any more, their service is still unbelievable. Too bad other manufacturers don't take that as an example of how to do business the right way.
It says there in their policy that they replace the phone or repair only up to a month, but it doesn't even mention anything about parts, repair might mean only the man labour. Anyway, op bought phone more than 6 months ago...

inew policy there also says they do service for up to a year after the launch of the phone in case of lost invoice, but for sure it doesn't include parts.
Hello,

Finally I've received repaired iNew V3.

I had to pay 60$ (10$ less than at the beginning) for - as they said - motherboard that was broken. Contact like always was very problematic, after I payed this amount of cash I was asking for few times what now, when phone will be ready. But one day after two weeks I have received an @ with information that they have finished repairing my phone and sent it (@ contained tracking number)

I was surprised by the speed of arrival of shipment - 11 days in my home by Singapore Post !

And for the plus I can say that not only motherboard was replaced - also whole display, and two sides of the housing (this two with power button and volume buttons)

Phone almost looks like new one - almost - because there are some little scratches on back of the camera glass and a little one on back of cover.

This is nice accent, but the only one. The time of repair - almost 3,5 months, the way to contact them, the way that they speak and answer people, warranty policy (and that I had to pay for repair), all the nerves and lost time - these are all the things why I never buy phone from 1949deal.com
Thanks for the update, it's always good to let others know of your experience.
Is 1949 even around anymore?

I have gotten parking page for a bit.... no big loss by the sounds of things, but very curious.
