Would the basebands work? Yes, im in Florida. USA.

I would LOVE to get an Xiaomi.

This is also direct from Xiaomis retail page.
That is the new one that has just come out mate that has LTE and 4G but from what I have read the 4G only works on the Chinese and Indian networks but 3G is still fine. I don't have one so I can't really say. If you can find one with your working baseband get one bought and then get me a beer lol.
nope won't really work in US with 3G, cause it lacks 850 and 1900Mhz WCDMA band.
Not sure about LTE, won't work in parts of EU either because no 2600 band

I can tell you that tmobile is on 1900/2100 band. And from my reading on other websites, the LTE version has all the bands I'll need. I'll be taking my time on this, because I want to ensure this will work perfect
if you need definite 3G support, you should check out the THL T11, that has the required WCDMA bands for you. only 5 inch though.
@Gizbeat did a review on it, you might want to check that out:

That is a great review, only skipped through it but looks like a great phone for the money.

I live in Florida too and I'm on Tmobile. The only phone I found that works on 3g H+ with killer specs and a great price is my Lenovo k910. It's pentaband wcdma and dual sim full active. Tmobile 3g is plenty fast (I stream content without a problem) so I don't miss lte. There are other phones that would work here but not for $280. Only downside for some is the K910 has 16gb onboard and no sd. Doesn't bother me though. Just remember that you will require BOTH 1700 and 1900 bands for any phone to work properly on Tmobile USA.

P.S. I bought mine from etotalk.com and you need their modrom installed. Good luck.

Looking at this bad boy. Camera is 13mp but apparently, not that great. Also no physical touch buttons on homescreen. Software based.

Anyone have this phone? Has the size, and works on T-Mobile for LTE.

That phone ticks all the boxes and has superb battery life. I only hear good things about it. But at 6.1 inches it's huge! My hands are large enough to palm a basketball easily and my 5.5" k910 can be a struggle!
I'm also looking at this one. Not much of a price increase, and its got much better specs. Along with .9" bigger screen.

Yes, i understand that 6.1" is huge, but a 7" screen with 1080p, why not. I'm not sure about the processor though. Both quad core, but im unsure as to which is better.

One of these 2 phones will be my next purchase.

Lacks proper LTE support for tmobile. Were on band 4 (1700) which that doesn't have. If I get it, it'll be the 3g version which supports HSPA+ (original 4g). Still looks promising.
