Yes, i understand that 6.1" is huge, but a 7" screen with 1080p, why not. I'm not sure about the processor though. Both quad core, but im unsure as to which is better.

One of these 2 phones will be my next purchase.

Are you looking for a phone or tablet? I'm typing this on a nexus 7 and can't imagine trying to use it as a phone.
The X1 doesn't have the wcdma or lte bands you need. For Tmobile lte you need b4 and wcdma you need both 1700 AND 1900. Be very careful with the bands otherwise you'll have a 2g seven inch slab instead of a smartphone. Also, don't rely solely on what the seller states for specs. Ask questions from multiple sources ootherwise you'll regret it. Good luck.

I guess I'm looking for a 'phablet'. I've got a tmobile note 2 now. 5.5". So i can only go up from there. The mediapad honor x1 I posted will work on tmobile minus the 4g. It will work as 3g with HSPA+.

Here's a link: check it out

Huawei MediaPad Honor X1 T-Mobile (UNBOXING):

Quick question.. is www.huaweimobileshop.com reputable?

Do a Google search on Tmobile 3g. They have the most fragmented coverage out of all the US carriers. Some areas are 1700/1900, some are other frequencies, I forget which is which and there's no indication of which area has what. He's in Texas so it works there but not necessarily in Florida or somewhere else. Looks like a nice phone though and would be great if it works for you in Florida.

Thanks for the advice

I am looking for same as you, discussing here in this thread: http://www.chinaphonearena.com/forum/Thr...reat-model

a few replies there with options for you.
the Lenovo K910 seems from replies to be a good choice. Or the Iocean x8 is very nice looking phone.

iOcean x8 looks cool. However I feel that it lacks the proper bands that I'm looking for. I'm going to opt for the Huawei ascend mate 2. 6.1" 720p ( a little low, but probably unoticeable), amazing battery life, 13mp camera that supposedly can be fixed with an .apk installation. A decent power conserving quad core processor, 5.0 ml front camera, and T-Mobile LTE support. There also seems to be a growing popularity.

If it's too small for me, I'll sell it and purchase the honor x1.

Going 5 spend the rest of the night reading amazons reviews on the ascend mate 1.

Thanks guys!!!
As @twotems mentioned, you need 1900 or 1700/2100 for T-Mobile 3g and 850 or 1900 for AT&T 3g, depending on where you are.
