Hey guys, how are you?

I will try to explain what suceed to me yesterday...

My wifey Blu Dash 5.0 was on KitKat original rom, and since she doesn't liked it I tried to restore to a 4.2.2 backup. First thing I did was root it using VRoot. Using Mtk Droid Tools I did a rom and IMEI backup. So far so good...
Next thing I did was trying to install a custom recovery to be able to flash 4.2.2 rom. And here started the cause of all of my problems! At first I noticed every recovery I flashed wasn't compatible with KK. After flashing, when I tried to boot in recovery I always ended with a black screen and the phone booting normally after a few seconds. At this point I was becoming a little concerned about this, but it's ok... I had my phone backup. What could go wrong? My mistake. When I tried to download my backup back to the phone using SP Flash Tool v5.13 I received an error message like the one in the picture above and the phone didn't powered on anymore. When connected to the charger battery indicator didn't showed anymore...

I've tried every button sequence I heard about while powering on the phone but nothing actually works. Already tried to remove all the MTK drivers using usddeview and reinstalling again but at this point I'm not sure drivers are being installed correctly.

There is any way to unbrick this? Anything I should try? USB jig maybe?

Any good soul could help me, please?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.
Have you tried format+download? You may lose nvram these way though. Do you have nvram backup?
Thanks for your fast response! Yes, I have NVRAM backup. Same error when formatting Sad
Have you tried SP Flash Tool? See tools section and tryva different tool.

Wait! Now I'm a little confused. Smart Phone Flash Tool isn't the same as SP Flash Tool? I mean, the is another tool beside the one in the screenshot? I will check and report back Smiling Thanks again!

SP MDT give this message when loading scatter file "load scatter file fail". I think I'm stuck, my device manager never show the device as "preloader", MT USB Port (ComX) is right? Maybe should I dismantle the phone and search for those test points?
When you made your IMEI backup and ROM backup in MTK Droid Tool, did you also make a scatter backup? Or are you using a generic scatter you downloaded from somewhere else?

Have you already been through these steps?

Wudda, thanks for replying. Yes, I made a scatter backup in MTK Droid Tool. I will recheck every possible solution on that thread, but I'm becoming hopeless. I even tried other computer, other OS, etc.

Was your phone the only thing connected to your PC when you took that screenshot? Its just that 2 com ports are showing, and one unknown device. Try usbdeview again. You may have missed uninstalling something. And don't forget to reboot before reinstalling.
you guys are doing a good job but I need to explain this to OP

Please understand this if you can.

1) A recovery when booted is completely independent of your normal boot

2) if you get a blank screen.....that tells you that you never had a correct recovery image flashed. I have tested this myself from a normal boot I go into mobileuncle and flash a bad image....do not try this yourself....but I tried it as I knew my image was less than the dumchar info byte size.

3) a recovery is not an Android version per se.
it it a kernel with some basic stuff to access your flash areas and filesystem.

4) it should be possible
if you have all the backups
to flash the original recovery back onto this device

5) that won't fix your preloader issue but it will allow you to clear your cache, and stuff.

6) if you can upload your original recovery image and link to it I can have a look at it.

7) can you also provide links to all the ROMs you attempted as it is likely that your English skills have lead to you using the wrong ROM

8) can you also provide a link to your true specifications or original purchase site please. EDIT found it

I'm sorry for taking so much time to reply. I had too much work to do on the last few days. I understand everythign you said, that's ok. Biggest thing to me is to express myself in another language, beside that I have a good understandment reading all the information you guys kindly posted here. I really appreciate how everyone has been so attentive.

I have a full backup of my phone. I did this on MTK Droid Tools and it includes IMEI, NVRAM, recovery, system, boot and so on.

My original recovery:

First recovery I flashed:

And the second one:

I understand that recovery nothing have to do with the normal rom boot and thinking on what you said I have a vague idea on what should happened. When I was seeking for some working way to flash a custom recovery I made some tests using two "magical" scripts:

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
and
[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

I think one of those could have made some memory address overlap and not any other tool. I was unable to use SP Flash Tool to download or readback anything since the beginning of this quest of mine, so I think it's not the culprit.

Mine is the 410i variant, but I really do not know what's the difference.

Anything else I can do? Maybe upload my full rom backup?

Thanks again!
