Are you sure you have CWM installed, and not just standard recovery? Did you actually install CWM?

i just realised i am on stock recovery.and now a cwm one. i got mtkandroidtools.but where can i get the cwm recovery image? and is it possible to use any available?or it should be for my mobile?

It needs to be made for your phone and sometimes even needs to be the same firmware as well. I mean, depending on changes between ROMs, one CWM may not be compatible with the next.
