By mistake I have been pressing down the vol down button. Now I tried several times without hitting the vol down and just the vol up button + power but my phone won't enter recovery. I also tried different ways of hitting the buttons.
After a few seconds it shows the caesar logo and then there's a black screen. I have to remove the battery to be able to restart my phone. I tried the whole procedure from the beginning. In flash tool the download works and i get the green circle but my device is shown with yellow exclaimation mark in device manager. is that maybe causing some issue that recovery won't start?
hmm... well if the green circle is showing, it should of flashed properly.
1) When the black screen shows, have you tried hitting the soft keys and/or the power button?
2) Is the phone booting okay if you don't try to enter recovery?
3) What version of Android are you running?
4) Do you have access to a stock ROM for backup?
1) Just tried it. There is no respond from the phone. And i just saw if i just leave the blackscreen alone for a while phone boots up normal.
2) Phone is always booting without a problem
3) I am running Android 4.1.2
4) No i do not directly have access to a stock rom
I found a rom from ZOPO ZP900H in the xda forum. And it is compatible with Caesar a9600. When pluged in my phone is also shown as ZP900H in device manager. I'm just not so sure if it is a stock rom
Thanks Gizbeat for the help till now.
By the TWRP tutorial i also end up not getting into recovery. The second download link you posted is the rom I also have already. Is there no other way of getting into recovery?

I believe so. I just posted the thread with the recovery. The scatter file was the same, so you didn't mess anything up with the rest of the system. Just flash the recovery in the new thread. Please report back in that thread as to the results.
Thanks for your help with troubleshooting, as well as testing TWRP with the a9600.

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could

Thanks
I am using the Zopo 900H and has success with installing recovery using the recovery image file from the A9600_recovery package.

ChrisX,
I just saw your donation. It's much appreciated. I'm not begging, I work very hard and long hours to test ROMs and write tutorials so that beginners can understand. So many times when I was learning, things weren't completely explained and it made for a frustrating experience. A couple bucks from a few users here and there makes a huge difference. So far you're the only one to donate though. Thanks again though bud. Lifted my spirits. If you come to Thailand, I'll buy you a beer. Cheers.

When I connect my mobile ZP810 (Hero h7500+) in OFF state with my win7 64 bit, driver searching is started in windows, and then driver for "mediatek preloader usb vcom port" is installed. meanwhile in "device manager" a port for "mediatek preloader usb vcom " appears and then vanished / disappear after 2 or 3 seconds. and then win7 is unable to detect the phone in when it is OFF. hence SP flash tool is unable to process "Download" step, and i am unable to install recovery image in my zp810 / h7500+. I tried many different drivers for mtk 6589 from different sites/sources, tried sneappea application/software as well, then tried UsbDeview as well, tried manually update the VCOM port as well, but no benifit gained.
all tries yielded into no results, and i am stuck to recognize my phone in OFF state, and hence can not do recovery / ROM / Flash etc.
