Pretty likely. Some V3 devices are being shipped with firmware v1.0.9 which is not available on iNew's official site.

hi guys,
i'm from Italy...so i'm following also Nodis develop from time ago...
but no deal for software update.
On their site there's nothing to download for this ND503.

i work in large-scale distribution, and in a certain way i know NODIS:
if you see their models are all models we know from other brand (INEW, UMI, etc...).

i'm waiting this official update from iNew.
even if, sincerely, i don't have so much to complain to actual software (1.0.1 25-02-2014) but the bugs we speak about regularly (mainly BATTERY CONSUMPTION, and the minor DATE-HOUR).

The point is that rom is very good!
The wifi now is waaaaay better. I was transferring files between my pc and iNew with a speed of 500-700kb/s (at a specific area in my house) now at the very same point the speed is 2,5-2,7mb/s!!!!
It's incredible!
That's way i'm curious about this rom.

I think they have been working on the firmware and released bunch of different beta versions but they didn't publicized it. That's why after 1.0. 8 we are getting 1.1.4. Probably the one leaked on the needrom is also a beta version. Because they said the 1.1.4 rom (final version) is not out yet...
I'm just happy that they did what they promised to us.
What they are doing for this large amount of users is not rare among Chinese mobile companies

And if they include air gestures, it will be almost perfect!
