About frequencies... personally I would have paid 10 more usd to have both 850 and 900 I think most peopole would I wonder what's holfing them back from doing that....
I back in the day bought the umi x1 and it had mt6577 dual a9 and all frequencies for 3g. This is why umi did so well I think and thx x3 also supports three 3g frequencies.
Basically I'm saying if inew did a new v3 that had the three main 3g I would get it and give this one to a fsmily member ))

In my country it's good to have 900 band, because with that band I can have 3G in remote areas.. It's better.

It's 'of course' for you Nunytes. But not all users are as knowledgeable. We had a user ask a sincere question, thus let's try to give a sincere answer.

What we're hoping for is China brands to wake up to the frequency issue and begin including minimum quad-band 3g. 850/900/1900/2100. It may be an issue regarding licensing. Regardless, its one of the major issues holding China brands back, as nearly all halfway decent major brand models (Samsung Oppo etc...) have at least quad-band 3g.

Totally agree! It would be much better getting a fully working, stable ROM based on 4.2.2 than waiting for another months for KitKat full of bugs and errors. If that's the case I will sell my piece of bugbox and buy another brand with proper updates and official releases.
