So here are the final figures. Could have done 10 hours but need to use the phone later so decided to charge it.
9 hours 44 minutes screen on, total of 14+ hrs active and 3+ days overall usage. I'd like to see another phone match those numbers. Personally I don't think there's anything on the market that can, but if there is let me know and I'll buy it! Lol.
How does this compare to the original THL 5000?

You need to ask someone who's owned both. I've only used the 4000 and 5000t. In my opinion this is just a large screen 4000. It's not perfect but my main phone is a Zenfone 2 which is on steroids, so it's an unfair comparison. I've not charged it for 2 days and I'm replying your message from it at 58% with almost 4hrs sot.

Here you go..........
I have a Zenfone 2 and my innos D6000 I never really got to use. This really makes me want to switch to the innos just to see if it can compete with you.

My Zenfone 2 says it gets an average Screen On time of "4h 1m (2h 0m Max)". I don't understand how my max is lower than my average, but so it goes.

According to Gizbeat's review it beats the THL which is to be expected with a bigger battery and newer, more efficient soc. But I've replaced the THL with the Blackview BV5000 which has better battery life than the THL, is smoother, faster and also fully rugged. Check out my battery stats below for yesterday for the Blackview. Unfortunately it's not much use to you as it doesn't have the claimed 1900 wcdma band.

My Zenfone 2 has ok battery life but excellent standby. I get about 5 hrs max sot. But the Zenfone is super smooth and fast. It's a pleasure using it. Bargain of the year by far.
I swear you cycle through phones faster than I cycle through beers!

I had been out of the game long enough that the Blackview BV5000 had completely eluded my radar.

Yeah it seems that way but my main one is the Zenfone and I have no plans to change it anytime soon. I've had it for 7 months which is almost a record for me. It's my back up phone I keep changing as I've not found one that I really like, though the Blackview is very, very close.
