Ok, you can restore lost files with Kvisoft [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register].
With this recovery tool, you can recover deleted photos from Samsung.

I'm having trouble getting into a recovery mode or download mode what so ever! I have done every possible button/pull bat/usb cable connect combination ever lol.

Its truly a bummer since I have no idea what this phone really is, it seams to be a clone of galaxy s4. The reason I want to root because current rom recognizes the simcard but won't let me to make any calls.

I have made a few vids so you guys can see what im doing and the results I get.

ADDITIONAL Info

Any recommendations would be highly appreciated as I truly don't know what else to do.

Thank you all.

Try Framaroot to root you S4 clone. It's an apk that you install and it then roots your device directly on the phone. Worked for me on my MoreFine S6 Pro.

You mean you press call and it just sits there? Does it attempt to make the call? Does your screen go black?

Regarding going into recovery, have you tried holding the volume button for longer? If yes, when you get rooted, you can try to boot into recovery with Quick Boot from play.

Are you able to connect to the net via WiFi?

I have same exact problem Samsung s4 clone it recognize t-mobile sim and lycamobile but no network available i do not mind using the clone but it does not recognize mobile network

under settings you can see everything is correct but when you try to make a call it says

(2013-09-05, 09:30)rechiehilario Wrote: [ -> ]Finally i solved this problem regarding to "mobile networks available" cant detect signal, cant send/text messages issue, simply dial this number in your phone

Step 1.After phone power on dial *#*#3646633#*#* .

Step 2.A menu will appear on screen , then select GPRS.

Step 3.to change imei 1 select 1ST PDP and input new imei and select ok.

Step 4.After this action in order first select "Attached" , second select "Deattached" and all will be done.

P.S. if need to change second imei just follow the same steps, only the diffrence is on step 4 select 2ND PDP and thats it.

I hope it helps..it works on my phone galaxy s4

thanks for the share but itried this and when i got to press the "ATTACHED" button it says failed. then i tried "DETACHED" and it went successful..but haven't fix the problem of not having a signal..i did a factory reset before i got the no signal problem.can you help me or is there any method i can do..thanks again..

The phone did not do anything when I tried this. The problem I have is, I inserted a new Sim card and the service provider told me the phone's IMEI number is activated on another account. Therefore I need a new IMEI. I have a older phone. Is it possible to change the IMEI number to one of my old phone? What options do I have
If I understand correctly, dialing *#*#3646633#*#* should bring me into engineer mode on my HDC Galaxy S4 Legend II. When I key punch this code, it disappears and nothing happens.
- Is there an other code I can use to get into this mode?
- Do I have to root the phone before being able to use it?

Thanks!

i was finally able to get into engineer mode on my HDC S4 Legend 2 not by using *#*#3646633#*#* but by using *#4560# . I am able to rewrite the IMEI. When I select "ATTACHED" I receive a message saying that the operation failed. I get the same message when selecting "DETACHED" also. So even though I have written a new IMEI, I am still not able to make voice calls ou send text messages. When I go into the SIM management menu i can se my SIM card information (provider and phone number) but "Voice call" and "Messaging" are inactive.

Any ideas?

hi Magocarlini! i had the same problem too but i already resolved it. before i can help you with your s4 we will need to check your device hardware first to see what MTK chip is installed on our phone so that we can use the right codes.

---> go to playstore and download and install antutu benchmark (the one with the red icon)

---> run antutu bechmark then click device info

you will see all the basic information of your phone and the CPU Model (MTK-XXXX)
