I only offer some things to try.

It's very strange it shows 50% with no battery. Sounds to me like software or other hardware (PCB) issue, not hardware battery issue.

What is voltage of internal battery when system shuts down. Maybe something about calibration. QFIL install of ROM and or factory reset is something to try.
I almost confirm is hardware issues solder the internal battery again.... use it only internal battery without external... from 85% until now 30% more than 5 hours no restart at all... Will test it over the week end with external battery

The new internal battery is 3.7v 3000mah. My ROM 3.2 using 2 SIM with micro SD card.

I mean it's probably not battery problem as you suspected. And you just proved it because battery working fine past %.
So it's either software or hardware (PCB board etc...).

When there are 2 batteries, there are more software calculations involved. Because it needs to decide which battery to draw power from, so can still be some calibration issue etc. Finding our what is wrong is process of elimination. If you do factory reset, and still have the problem, okay you know is not current ROM data problem. If you flash QFIL ROM and still have problem, okay you know it's not internal config problem... Etc..
Don't need to do any factory reset now my external 43% and internal 27% without any restart.. Do quite possible is internal battery problem
Is confirm phone restarting is due to internal battery problem nothing to do with ROM of software... After 12 hours resoldering internal battery 9% and external 9% full load all software (without 360 Antivirus) max brightness LCD can feel a bit hot... But no restart at all!!! Hooray!!!! To those Buddy that have restart problem please check your internal battery!!

The problem isn't the battery itself. This was my point.

It was either hardware or ROM. Looks like your resolder fixed the problem. That's great news!
Hello,
I am having the same problem... the swollen internal battery, the blue dots in the screen (a little below the middle), and I also entered in [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
there I was chatting with the Poland support
To make it short, they told me that there are 2 options:

1- Send it to Moscow
2- Buy the battery, and any service can make the change, because is easy.

I said I bought the phone in China and that I changed the ROM, and as there is no warranty I would like the second option.

They said that the Battery costed 18€, and the shipping 12€ more. They asked for Paypal adress, that at the moment I don't have, so they gave me an e-mail:
[email protected]

I will make the purchase tonight, and if everything goes ok, by Friday or next [/quote]week I will have my new battery.

I will tell you how it goes.
I will also attach the files of the chat.

Maybe they changed from what garytanyh chat before, or maybe is another central. Let's see...

Thanks to all for the information given before !!
I'm happy.
I received the new battery today, and I already changed it.

So far is working.

I still din't charge it, because it's 50%.
I will update if there is anything else.

You sure with PCB?

This link shows actual PCB board... But 3 different types. Not sure which is best.
