Ha Ha Ha funny man lol I have installed Sp flash tools now looking for the other files
(lot less stress with odin on samsung lol, but I guess thats the learning curve)

sp flash tool v3.132 installed
inew_v3_CWM_5.5.rar extracted

I have run SP Flash tool and selected MT6582_Android_scatter_v111-TestVersion.txt for scatter loading, then hit F9 and get the following DOWNLOAD WARNING... not all images are correctly loaded, which may cause boot up issue!
Do you still want to go on loading anyway?

Is this normal or can some one chime in with some help (pretty please with cherries and cream and a cadburys flake etc etc)
Cheers (sitting here with finger hovering over the yes button) shanos
Well I finally figured it out and
CWM installed and working
SU installed and working
usb otg helper shows storage module live, ntfs read-write supported

can someone who has not got working otg on their phone try running usb otg helper to see if it throws up an error?

I will try to find and follow a guide to backing up my firmware (and removing user data) later today and post it up.
if anyone has ideas or a guide that I can follow I would be greatfull.

regards Shanos

p.s its so nice to have CWM installed as now updating feels more like the samsung to me.

See the sticky guide by Nexus Trix in the root forum.
Just been over to [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] and sent them the following message, hopefully they will give us some advice and/or stop by.

Hi, I was just wondering if you can advise the latest version of firmware for your new V3, over at chinaphonearena.com they are suggesting that Version : cxq_v3_inew_v1.0.1_20131224 could be it, I am on cxq_v3_v1.0.6t02 is this older or newer?
Its very hard to figure out your rom naming convention.

Also could you give an idea when/if you will be providing an updated rom for kitkat 4.4? or the sources so that one can be compiled.

We are hoping that the phone will get a lot of support from both your company and the developer community as a whole, as this will ensure the phone has a wider adoption and also boost your companies profile.
I hope that you can spare some time to answer this question and if you have some time drop by the forum to say hi and post some info to keep us up to date with your plans.

Kind regards Shanos

It's a nice message, but all we need to do is look at the kernel date to know which is newer. Just take a look in settings > about phone > kernel version and let us know.

It's extremely unlikely we'll see KitKat for the iNew V3 unless it's ported.

The way I figure it, its got to be worth an ask lol... never know there is a slim chance they might stop by.

My kernel version is 3.4.5 fri dec 6 19:41:28 cst 2013

Yup. It's a good idea no doubt. I wasn't downing the message to them. Great to show them people are talking about them. Truly they can be made or broken in the Western world by how they deal with their problems.
I can't load the firmware the flash tool that i tried 4 version didn't download the scatter Sad

Edit: There is a difference with 6589 update. First click Download then don't wait the red-purple bar plug the microusb then it starts download and load the firmware.

Tested it when it's virgin "date & time settings" works properly, when tried to open "developer options" then click to the "date & time settings" settings still get force close. Have anyone gets error like this?
Another new firmware? Can't test this where i am now.
