Installed cwm 6.0.4.4 via uncletools on a 1.0.1 version with baseband 2014-2-15,
It works ok , have done backup in my external card.
An offtopic question, must i wait to a 1.0.8 wcdma900 version to update ?
I think the one that is out is only for wcdma 850 ,am i right?

It looks like, yes. They did mention "850/2100"
So you should wait.

how did you succeed backing up on external sd?
i'm still in trouble with my cwm: after installing it (via MobUncleTool) it start correctly
but i always have "can't mount...path" error
and i don't see "to external-sd" in backup options...
Can you help me?
can you say all the steps you followed from install to backup?
or, if someone knows how to solve this issue...can say me?

Simply do the backup on the advanced backup option, it will save in the external sdcard.

Edit: Yes.
Elusivo is right , just choose sdcard in advanced options.

Alright, I'll answer my own question then. I managed to install CWM using MobileUncle Tools.
Another question though, do I have to keep MobileUncle Tools on my phone or will it be all right if I uninstall it ?

You can safelly unistall it.
