So i got my chinese phone a Star w800 and i wanted to repartition the internal memory so i was kinda bussy in that moment so i tried with an app of youtube bla bla bla.. my phone didnt start again T_T stuck on kitkat screen now i have a bigger problem, i wanted to flash with Sp flash tools and first i got an error i came here and read remove battery and now i receive this one :'( and it dont pass from there, tried so many times i have downloaded from needrom the stock rom, and also tried from the backup i made and same error with spflash tools v 5.13 v5.14 please somebody help me i dont know what to doCrying
Are you sure that the mtk preloader drivers are installed properly? That error you are getting looks like a failure to communicate. Here's how to check if all the drivers are installed.

Open device manager, unplug your phone, remove the battery, plug the usb cable into the phone, plug cable into computer (keep a close eye on device manager). If a device called MT65xx prealoader pops up (with an exclamation mark) and then disappears, you need to find the VCOM drivers for your phone and install them - they will allow SP Flash Tools to properly communicate with the phone.
I did what you say and this appears so i guess its oks?

i change the usb to an other port and its ok the message it says its green and with a checkmark

another try same ressult T_T, i installed the vcom drivers manually and now something change but again a fail for me, any other suggestion plz
How about this...

>>Remove phone battery
>>Open SP Flash Tools
>>Load Android Scatter file
>>Press 'Download' in SP Flash Tools
>>Plug USB cable to phone (without battery)
>>Plug cable to computer
>>SP flash tools should start showing some progress bars at the bottom
>>Insert the battery as soon as the red progress bar comes up

I hope doing that will enable you to complete the download process.
now its calling for a new driver :S

also is it normal a sound on earphones like pluggin and unpluggin the phone every time i connect it like this ?

i guess ill have to format my computer.. and check all this again

just one question when i format and all that, how to install the drivers? i open the folder mt65xx preloader or the New inst win 7&8x64 i have a windows 7 ultimate 64 bits
The sounds u are hearing means that your computer recognises your phone but then loses connection with it. So its definetely a driver issue. I had the same problem. No need to format your computer yet. First download the "All MTK USB driver 2014" package from here and install everything in it. EVERYTHING... thats all exe's (the ones that fit your version of windows ofc), in all 3 folders & subfolders. Thats what worked for me (win 7 64bit).
you mean the ones in this post:

That's a good sign - shows that we are making some progress. I don't think it's necessary to format your PC.

Here's what you should do next... Have device manager open and as soon as you connect the phone to PC, look at the device manager for a device that appears and then disappears when you connect the phone. We need to figure out what drivers are needed to make the device stay connected. Do this process with the battery connected to the phone and then without the battery.

You have to find the drivers for your devices and install them manually using this procedure. I think PdaNet is easier but it doesn't always have the drivers for your phone but it's definitely worth a try.

You should install drivers using Windows device manager. If there is a device without a driver (denoted by an exclamation point), double-click the device to get to its properties page.

>Go to driver tab
>Select "update driver"
>Browse my computer for driver software
>In the driver location, press 'browse'
>Navigate to the folder with drivers for the device
>Select the driver folder your OS version (Win7 64-bit)
>Click OK to select the folder
>Click next

Windows should now install the drivers.

You should also look for the drivers the PC was unable to install, download, and install them.

You are most welcome. We are glad we could help. Personally I have bricked more phones than I can count but the silver lining is that they can always be restored as long as it's just software that has gone bad. Cheers Smile
